I t ’ s not often here at KR that we get to directly compare an all-new model with its predecessor , particularly while both bikes are still available brand new . But this is exactly what happened when the good folks at BMW gave us the completely new F900R and the older model F800R to test . It is fair to say that both bikes look different , are different and the ride experience is completely different too . While the new 900 emerged as clearly the better machine on almost all counts , the 800 still takes a few points off the newcomer .
