In December last year I rode the Moto Morini X-Cape for a review < read it here >. There were several things that bugged me about the bike , over and above its cheerful and willing demeanour and its design qualities – a certain clunkiness in the rear componentry , I wasn ’ t sure about the white colourway , and it was slightly weighty in feel , minor issues , sure . But niggles , y ’ know ? These minor concerns were pretty much immediately eliminated in the Seieimezzo that arrived in gleaming bloody Italian red . Out of the box , I have to say that the

650 , ( or 6 1 / 2 as they have always been quirkily monikered ) is just an exceptionally attractive motorcycle .
WELL EXECUTED Lustrous paint work , beautiful seat , delightful café styled rear end - even with a double swing arm . There ’ s a top notch , non-reflective , colour TFT screen , a gorgeous single round headlight with great DRL ’ s and a glowing finish on the plastics .
