Beta Motorcycles New Zealand has announced its newly updated 2025 models are on the way , with some interesting changes coming out of the Italian factory . After twenty years of production , the Beta is giving its RR models a big update with even the name getting changed to help further differentiate them from the higher-spec Racing models . The new range of two-stroke and four-stroke enduro models will now be known as RR X-Pro from the 2025 model year forwards . Globally , Beta is producing a total of eight models in the RR X-Pro with New Zealand availability yet to be confirmed . The two-Stroke range consists of 125 , 200 , 250 , and 300 models , while the four-strokes come in the traditional 350 , 390 , 430 , and 480 4T . The 2025 Beta RR X-Pro lineup differs not just in name from its predecessors . With a 20mm lower seat height , they are even more accessible , while an all-new separate function fork , elastomeric handlebar mounts , coolant overflow reservoir , as well as a helpful rescue strap on the front fender add to the appeal . Topping off the list of changes are all-new plastics which distinctly set the X-Pros apart . That new separate function fork is an all-new ZF SHC unit which is lighter than the earlier standard RR model ’ s design by using one spring on the right-side tube that includes a preload adjuster , while compression and rebound dampening is handled by the left tube . Beta says this single spring design is perfect for heavy enduro use by providing the rider with a more “ planted ” feeling while riding . It also allows the fork to react quicker than other designs due to less overall friction . Complimenting the front fork are iso-elastic handlebar mounts from XTrig , which reduce vibration and rider fatigue . The rear shock is also new with updated valve settings to match the all-new SHC front fork . The frame design RR X-Pro lineup has been adopted from the RR Race Edition and RX models . That means the new frame provides a larger backbone that is stronger than previous models and provides improved control through less flex . Along with the new frame , a new Nissin rear brake master cylinder has been added
