the fork travel . In comparison to how the bike came out of the factory , it is now a sure-footed mountain goat instead of a clumsy labrador . It ’ s been made into a proper road going dirt bike , and has boosted my riding confidence .
WAS IT WORTH IT ? This is a tricky question to answer , as it did cost quite a bit of money . How much ...? more than I would tell my wife , but less than I would have expected . If this was a bike I was not planning
to keep for an extended period of time , then I would say no , it probably is not an investment for you . But as this is the closest thing I ’ ve ever had to a “ forever bike ”, I have to say yes . The bike is more enjoyable to ride , more comfortable , and easier to manage . You don ’ t know what you have until you ride something better , and this is head and shoulders above the factory setup . Pol Tarres I am not , but I am a better rider on this bike now than I ever was on the old suspension .
