After seeing what sister brands Husqvarna and KTM were launching into 2024 , we were waiting to see what GasGas had in store for 2024 . Turns out , the Spanish brand has a rather attractive-looking lineup for the year ahead . Across the board , all 2024 Motocross models are now powered by new , lighter motors , which produce both more torque and high-revving power than ever before . For two-stroke fans sick of kicking their bike into life , GasGas now has you covered with both the MC 125 and 250 gaining electric starters for 2024 . The engines are now mounted with a slight backwards tilt to lower the front sprocket and further centralise the weight in a bid to improve the already sharp handling GasGas ’. It ’ s not just engines that are new for the 2024 GasGas MC range . All gain new steel frames , new aluminium subframes , and new swingarms , with the chassis tuned for razor-sharp cornering with straight-line stability . The engine design updates and chassis tweaks of the MX bikes flow on to the enduro side , with the EC models seeing similar changes to help centralise weight and improve handling while also making use of more powerful engines . Better yet , GasGas has added two brand new models to the enduro lineup in the form of the EC450 and EC500 respectively . Both bigbore bikes are more suited to open-going and flowing trails and feature all the same top-level components as the rest of the range . We ’ re talking Braktec brakes , WP suspension , and enduro-specific PANKL transmissions . Other updates to the 2024 GasGas range include a revised rider triangle with larger contact points for the rider to make use of , new Map Select switches on four-stroke models and quickshifters all-round , plus the two-stroke machines now benefit from Throttle Body Injection systems to bring them right up to date . Braktec has also come to the party with new hydraulic clutch systems and new braking systems including unique brake discs for the GasGas range .
