Tool-less air-filter access carries across to the XC model , which will be appreciated by enduro and XC riders .
REAR SHOCK A freshly designed Uni-track suspension system makes room for the motor . While the shock is 30mm shorter , the suspension arm is mounted below the swingarm . This allows the shock to have a longer stroke , giving finer tuning when being adjusted .
CHASSIS An all-new frame gives room for the new motor , and has made the KX450 a more balanced bike with a more nimble feel . New footpeg brackets allow the ‘ pegs to be dropped by 5mm .
KTRC A handlebar-mounted switch controls the all-new Kawasaki Traction control ( KTRC ). This lets the rider switch between weak or strong traction control assistance . There ’ s also the ability to load your own maps using the Kawasaki app ‘ Rideology The App KX ’.
