road I was able to feather the brakes well and slow down quickly on the loose terrain without having to lock the wheels up . First gear is quite short , giving plenty of torque , which is good for climbing up rough terrain - I could keep my speed and not have it bogging down . On the more open , fast sections of track , it worked well in second gear coming out of the corner ; rolling the throttle on gets the bike up to pace quickly . There ’ s nothing bad to say about the RR200 , just the normal rider preference things , like tyre choice - and , for me , I would wind out the power-valve to get it going harder . With there being no other 200s on the market , the RR200 is one of a kind . It ’ s a bike that ’ s full of fun and has the ability for a rider to really progress their riding . It ’ s ready to ride straight out the crate , with a comfortable bar bend , footpegs that provide a lot of grip , and cool features such as the weather control switch and hand adjusters for the front and rear suspension .
BETA RR300 ENDURO This bike is an absolutely beautiful piece of Italian machinery . It exceeded my expectations , by quite a margin . When first getting out on the bike , I took it straight up a hill and found myself playing on this hill section for quite a while - just having fun . The new diaphragm clutch that ’ s been added for 2022 is insanely smooth and is the lightest feeling clutch I ’ ve felt on a bike . It ’ s got such good feel and actuation . As you might expect , the 300 has plenty of torque . With the new top-end ( piston , cylinder , power-valve ) and a shorter piston stroke for 2022 , there was never a time I had to flick the clutch to get up any steep sections - it just charges straight on up . Even with the bigger engine capacity , the RR300 still has the same kind of feel as its smaller siblings , the RR200 and RR125 . Sharing the same geometry it still feels a light and playful bike , just with a lot more power that
