ROAD NEWS

DGR 2025

Registrations have now opened for the 2025 edition of the Distinguished Gentlemen’ s Ride, taking place on May 18. Naturally, NZ will be the first of such events held around the globe, due to us picking up the time-zone and dateline double as well as pineapple lumps in the race to all things good. This year sees the twelfth DGR that has been sponsored here by Triumph Motorcycles NZ and globally by Triumph Motorcycles, with their staff sharing the passion for motorcyclists with riders of classic, modern and quirky bikes and equally diverse groups of riders, all contributing to this fantastic cause – and having an epic day out.“ We knew we needed to do more for men’ s health,” says Mark Hawwa, Founder of The Distinguished Gentleman’ s Ride.“ That’ s why we partnered with the world’ s largest men’ s health charity, Movember, and with Triumph Motorcycles. We are incredibly grateful for the ongoing support of all our partners and enabling us to support men’ s health on a global scale, in supporting the critical causes of prostate cancer and men’ s mental health. Together with our community, we are proud to continue riding dapper for men’ s health.” Time to scour friend’ s and family’ s wardrobes for distinguished-type apparel and polish those motorcycles in readiness for this great cause, organise a group of like-minded souls and enter this global phenomenon. Talking posh is optional but often happens when dressed in tweed, so however you roll, come along.
