YAMAHA
Ténéré 700
Similar to KTM and its 790
Adventure models, Yamaha fans
were on the verge of giving up on
ever seeing a production Ténéré 700
after what felt like years of teasing
and waiting. The wait appears to
have aid off, and while in some
respects the Yamaha gives ground to

KAWASAKI
W800 Street & W800 Cafe
Surprisingly while Kawasaki did not
debut a replacement for the ageing

the Northern Hemisphere but will live
on in New Zealand and Australia, for
now – two bikes which Kawasaki pulled

the W1 of 1966. With a bubble
screen, revised rider triangle and a
beautiful bevel-gear-driven vertical
twin engine, the Cafe looks great.
Tragically, Kawasaki NZ currently
has no plans to bring the model
to our shores, so get petitioning if
you want one for your garage.
