EXHILARATING
The whole experience was so exhilarating.
All I’ve been itching to do since is just gear
up and hop on a bike again. It’s something
I could definitely see me getting addicted
to, there’s nothing quite like it. It was
satisfying to feel totally physically and
mentally challenged. I fell off, stalled
several times but I didn’t crash, or scrape
up my leg, so I think in the end I redeemed
my epic scooter fail and can say to myself
that I can, and I did, ride a motorbike.
There’s a way to go, and still lots to learn,
but I’m one step closer to fulfilling my
teenage fantasy (leaning more towards
a Honda now though, like my dad) and
continuing the line of motorbike riding in
the family.
THANKS
Big thanks to Ben, the editor, for being
an awesome mentor. I was in good hands.
Thanks to Vege for organising the day, for
the constant encouragement from the KR
team. Cheers to Northern Accessories for
hooking me up with some sweet gear and
Honda for such a great bike and trusting
me not to destroy it in the process.
