Tamburini’s bike will be on display at the Ducati
Museum until January 15, 2020.

ZARCO AND KTM SPLIT

TM has announced that French rider Johann
Zarco and the Red Bull KTM MotoGP team
will not complete the second season of a
two-year agreement together next year.
The former Moto2 World Champion and the
factory team have mutually decided to end
his stint in orange at the end of their 2019
championship campaign.
The 29-year-old joined KTM towards the end of
2018 after his second term in MotoGP and for his
first ride as a full-factory supported rider.
to mould the #5 machine to the Frenchman’s
wishes and requirements, this undoubtedly
caused frustrations within the camp with Zarco’s
teammate Pol Espargaro making regular Q2
qualification appearances and persistently in the
mix for top ten positions on race day.
Ultimately both Zarco and the team decided
not to proceed into the 2020 season together
and will now focus on sending Zarco out with a
bang during the final eight rounds and remaining
months of MotoGP 2019.
