ROCKSTAR KEEPS THE PARTY GOING H usqvarna Motorcycles has announced that its partnership with Rockstar Energy Drink, in which Husqvarna’s top-tier teams ride under the collective Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing Team banner, will continue through to 2021. “Together with Rockstar Energy Drink, Husqvarna Motorcycles has established, developed and expanded a truly global racing structure”, says Husqvarna Motorcycles Motorsport Manager, Diego Clement. “Extending this partnership allows Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing to continue pursuing victories in all forms of offroad motorcycle racing. We are extremely pleased to be continuing our partnership with Rockstar Energy Drink and look forward to more positive seasons together.” Beginning their successful partnership in 2015, the Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing has played a pivotal role in reinvigorating the Husqvarna Motorcycles brand through the success in global supercross, motocross, enduro and rally racing activities which has often 26 KIWI RIDER seen the Husqvarna teams fighting it out with Matthigofen stablemates KTM with 2018 seeing Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing claim their first-ever AMA 450cc SuperCross Championship, together with Jason Anderson. In recent years the collaboration between Husqvarna Motorcycles and Rockstar Energy has further developed with the FC 450 ROCKSTAR EDITION being integrated into Husqvarna’s extensive motocross line-up. Built to perform at the highest level, the motorcycle formed the basis of the machine Jason Anderson used to claim the coveted 2018 AMA 450cc SX Championship. Husqvarna Motorcycles confirms that the Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing teams will compete in the FIM Motocross World Championship, AMA Pro Motocross Championship, World Enduro Super Series, Grand National Cross-Country, Endurocross, Dakar Rally and the FIM Cross-Country Rallies World Championship, and are focused on achieving further racing success in the coming years.
