LIMITED EDITION MV AGUSTAS SELL OUT
M
V Agusta’s latest crop of limited edition
machines sold out within days of
becoming available.
Both bikes, the Brutale 1000 Serie Oro and
Superveloce 800 Serie Oro were sold out only
days after launching a pre-order campaign
through the company’s social media platforms
and are set to be produced in a limited run of just
300 units each. The first deliveries of the Brutale
1000 Serie Oro are expected by November ‘19
while the Superveloce 800 will arrive in March ‘20.
“We are delighted with the success of these two
launches”, said MV Agusta CEO Timur Sardarov. “It
proves we are on the right path to continue in MV
Agusta’s glorious tradition of constant innovation,
breathtaking performance and superb design.
600 passionate riders from all over the world have
shown their unfaltering appreciation for our iconic
brand and our unique motorcycles. We shall do
everything in our power to make them proud of
owning an exclusive piece of true motorcycle art”.
Both bikes are utterly stunning machines and
definitely are worthy of being dubbed “motorcycle
art”. The Brutale 1000 Serie Oro is one of the
meanest and most aggressive looking naked bikes
ever.
With an engine derived from that of the F4 RC
superbike, the Brutale 1000 Serie Oro makes the
claim of being the most powerful 1000cc naked
ever produced, with MV claiming the bike makes
208hp and is capable of reaching top speeds of
over 300km/h.
The Superveloce 800 Serie Oro on the other
hand has a decidedly classic look, reminiscent
of MV Agusta’s legacy of racers. But beyond the
attractive modern classic racer aesthetic, the 800
Serie Oro features a familiar steel trellis chassis,
a 148hp inline-three cylinder 799cc engine with a
counter-rotating crankshaft coupled to a six-speed
gearbox and, of course, MV’s iconic triple-exit
exhaust system.
Did you manage to scoop one up? We’d love to
know if any made their way into Kiwi hands.
