DUCATI CROWNS CUSTOM RUMBLE WINNER
D
ucati has crowned the winner of its third
Custom Rumble contest, with a stunning
Scrambler 1100 FT build by Italian outfit
CC Racing Garage.
The jury of experts, composed by the actor
Nicholas Hoult, Ducati Corse riders Chaz Davies
and Andrea Dovizioso, the founder of BikeShed
Dutch Van Someren and the Italian customiser
of Officine Rossopuro Filippo Barbacane,
came together to choose the winning custom
motorcycle by voting among the five finalists.
The winning bike customised by Marco Graziani
of CC Racing Garage is part of the Bully category,
the open category which was dedicated
specifically to builds based upon the Scrambler
Ducati 1100 without any restrictions on the type
of bike or style of the final motorcycle.
The Italian builder took his base in the form
of a Scrambler Ducati 1100 Special of which he
customised the colour, graphics, exhaust and seat.
Rather than throwing away many of the factory
Ducati styling cues, Graziani decided to keep the
headlight, the rear end and the fuel tank similar
to the original Ducati design as he considers them
as the key elements of a Scrambler Ducati.
CC Racing Garage’s Scrambler 1100 FT was a
strong contender throughout the competition,
attracting the highest number of votes even
during the qualification phase when almost five
thousand members of the global motorcycle
community voting for it on Scramblerducati.com.
