COVER
usqvarna Motorcycles has just dropped
the covers on the 2020 TE and FE
enduro bikes with a host of updates.
The totally revamped line-up of competition
machines introduce key chassis, suspension
and engine developments to allow riders to
further push the limits.
Both the 2020 FE and TE lines feature
updated WP suspension, along with more
comfortable ergonomics and a progressive
design. Thanks to a new frame, subframe,
shock linkage and bodywork, updated fork
and shock settings, and premium components
as standard, the entire Husqvarna Motorcycles
enduro range is designed tol allow riders of
all skill levels to find seamless flow while
riding offroad.
The new models all feature new frames,
subframes, suspension, bodywork and
engines. All frames feature increased
longitudinal and torsional rigidity, which when
added to the new, lighter composite carbon
fibre subframe should ensure exceptional
handling, stability and rider feedback.
Updated 48mm WP XPLOR front forks and WP
XACT shocks offer simple adjustment, more

consistent damping and better resistance to
bottoming. Performance, comfort and traction
are enhanced thanks to the linkage system
that reduces seat height, ensuring riding over
technical terrain has never been easier. Husky
says new aluminium cylinder head mountings
help further improve handling.
An all-new TE150i now joins the TE250i
and TE300i, featuring the same proven two-
stroke fuel injection technology. Giving all the
conveniences of a four-stroke at a fraction
of the weight, the machine mixes a nimble
and lightweight chassis with a compact and
powerful engine. The new TE150i gets an
electric starter too.
The entire four-stroke range also features
extensive engine upgrades for increased
performance and rideability, with the FE450
and FE501 receiving a new cylinder head,
as well as extensive revisions to the FE250 and
FE350.
The 2020 enduro range also features a
10mm reduction in seat height, which together
with the slimmed-down new bodywork,
delivers ergonomics that should make it easier
to get on with.
