BRITTON ADVENTURES FOR SALE LONG TIME KIWI RIDER SUPPORTER BRITTON ADVENTURES IS HANGING UP THE NZ TOWEL AFTER 26 YEARS OF RUNNING EVENTS HERE IN NZ. MIKE AND ANGELA WOULD LIKE TO SAY THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO HAS SUPPORTED THEM... Ki Ora, As you are no doubt aware we, Mike and Angela, will no longer be organising New Zealand based motorcycle events. We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for supporting Britton Adventures – without you there would have been no events. What started out as a hobby in 1992 grew to become a full-time business in 2004. Our sponsors have been tremendous and without their assistance our events may not have happened. Yamaha Motor New Zealand has been a solid supporter for the last 16 years, providing us with appropriate bikes, Yamalube products, and support. Whites Powersports with the brands they stock - Shoei, Fly Racing, Leatt, Bark Busters, Shinko Tyres, RK Chains, GYTR, and DriRider - have given us great support right from the very early days of our motorcycle event business. We have had a wonderful time over the last 26 years setting up and running the rides from Kaitaia to Invercargill, the West Coast of the South Island to the East Cape of the North. The business has provided a fantastic lifestyle for us and our three offspring while they were growing up. We, Mike in particular, have been lucky to have seen so much of New Zealand and call it work. We have also been fortunate to have had tremendous assistance with route advice, ride set-up, and land access from riders all over New Zealand – you just can’t beat local knowledge. Many customers have gone on to become more than just acquaintances and we have enjoyed (almost) all our time organising the New Zealand events. Mike counted 98 different badges from weekend Adventure Rides and we didn’t do badges for our approximately 50 Guided and other events, so we are estimating around 150+ NZ events during the 26 years! Whew, makes us tired just thinking about it. With Mike turning 60 in January we decided it was time to hand the reins over to someone else and focus on our overseas tours.
