A
fter big updates to its range last year
including fuel-injected two-strokes (we
have the 300EXC on test at the moment
– look out for upcoming long term test
reports on that), the 2019 range of EXC machines
gets modest updates this time around.
Both the four-stroke and two-stroke ranges
receive refinement tweaks with the front forks
getting new settings and the rear shocks have
been reworked with a new piston assembly.

A more powerful battery and new seat cover
accompany new graphics and an orange
frame, rather than the current black.
The 125 and 150 XC-W cross-country models
have received the most attention. Both get a
new exhaust port shape and new power-valve
to increase top-end power, as well as a new
kickstarter, clutch, clutch cover and a re-worked
gearbox for more reliability. Check out our
look at the 150 XC-W and 150 SX in this issue.
