I find that after hours of riding, the RM-Z250 is still easy to ride and hasn’t worn me out as much as previous bikes I have ridden. This is mostly due to how well it handles and how well the power is to manage. The stock suspension is easy to set up and very easily adjusted. Having a good suspension set up makes racing a lot easier, and is one of the key things Suzuki has done right in the new 250. The new RM-Z looks good and feels good with the new sharp and modern looking plastics. I love the sleek feeling of this bike as it’s not too large or heavy between the legs, which just adds to the overall nimbleness and handling of the bike. This has been made possible by a lighter frame. Suzuki has put in a lot of effort to making this bike a more racer-friendly machine and I am enjoying every minute on it. One of the cool new features Suzuki have done for this bike is the new WiFi tuning kit. This allows you to change map settings to however you like. This allows you to set your bike anywhere from an aggressive setting to a mellow setting, depending on what suits you. Another thing I like about Suzuki’s is that they are kept simple which makes them easy to work on and maintain. They are a very reliable bike and just keep going. The power is very useable which makes it very easy to hold onto while riding for long periods, as well as having power at your right hand when needed. Racing both motocross and cross country is made easy as this bike is very versatile and handles the different disciplines easily. Reliability and handling are big factors in both disciplines of the sport and Suzuki has delivered that in a great all-round motorcycle. KIWI RIDER 49
