All in all, this is a bloody good bike. It’s a Honda, so it’s very well finished The seat height is 960mm with 330mm of ground clearance. At times when riding ruts I felt my feet were a little close to the ground and would have liked a whisker more clearance. The brakes are excellent with a front 260mm stopper that has perhaps the best feel in the business, while the 240mm rear has feel and strength by the truck load too. All in all, this is a bloody good bike. It’s a Honda, so it’s very well finished. I’ve been quite picky because the competition is tough in this class, but the Honda CRF250RX can hold its own well. As a wish list to keep me happy for the 2020 model… all Honda needs to do is narrow the fuel tank at the front, give it a little more punch down low... and I’d be in favour of a single exhaust system for simplicity. Other than that, this is a well-sorted machine for enduro and general trail riding that’ll cover a varied spread of conditions for a whole heap of riders. KIWI RIDER 45
