ROCKET TFC CONCEPT
It’s no secret that the Rocket III needed an
overhaul after years on the market in essen-
tially the same form it debuted back in 2004.
Sure, the Rocket III had seen a few updates
along the way including exciting offshoot
models with even catchier names, but the
bike at its heart was the same monster.
However, Triumph’s new Rocket TFC Con-
cept tears up the old build sheet and starts
afresh, with a new 2500cc inline triple pro-
ducing around 180bhp and 230Nm of tyre
shredding power.
Also in a move similar to that seen with the
Triumph Bobber and Speedmaster - which if
you pull them apart are essentially the same
bike - the Rocket TFC Concept boasts the abil-
ity to switch between a sexy solo seat model
and a more practical two-up version.
While Triumph Motorcycles New Zealand
currently don’t have any further info on the
bike available, it is clear from the photos that
the Rocket TFC Concept is far closer to pro-
duction than other concepts we’ve seen in
the past.
Fingers crossed we’ll get to swing a leg over
the all-new Rocket later this year.
