ABOUT US:

Crown Kiwi Technical (CKT) was formed when Robert Taylor, long time Ohlins suspension guru joined forces with Shayne King the 1996 500cc World Motocross Champion and owner of Crown Kiwi Enterprises one of New Zealand’s leading accessory distributors with products such as Alpinestars, One Industries, No Fear and Pro Circuit just to name just a few.

CKT’s mission is to provide great suspension for all bikes, all levels and all budgets, thereby improving rider safety and creating greater enjoyment of your riding time.

CKT have invested heavily in a state of the art building with every conceivable tool used in suspension work, ranging from a shock dyno so that we can test all shocks for the best possible results and performance to our oil filling vacuum pump ensuring all shocks, fork cartridges and steering dampers are filled and bled correctly.

CKT have three Ohlins / Race Tech factory trained staff on hand to help you get the best ride, comfort and performance possible whatever your ride.

We supply suspension to Team Honda for Craig Shirriffs and Hayden Fitzgerald, Team Yamaha for Gareth Jones and Sam Smith and Team Suzuki for Robbie Bugden and Andrew Stroud in the New Zealand Superbike Championship and street race events. We also are suspension supplier to Team Honda and Yamaha in the New Zealand Motocross Championship. 

CKT offer three levels of suspension service:

Level 1

  • Service / re-spring / re-valve your stock suspension.

Level 2

  • Upgrade your stock suspension, using high quality Race Tech components.

Level 3

  • Supply and fit Ohlins suspension

CKT is the sole distributor of Ohlins and the Master Race Tech Service Centre in New Zealand and we stock a large range of shocks, fork cartridges, steering dampers, springs and suspension components.
So don’t settle for an average ride get your suspension set up correctly. Road bike riders and in particular racers or regular track day attendees will even gain improved tyre life from properly set up suspension not to mention an improvement in braking and overall control. Dirt riders will see improved traction and control and a reduction in the effort required to ride your favourite track or trail.
